About Aldea

Aliza Bach is a seasoned entrepreneur, healthcare leader, and certified doula. She founded Aldea with a vision to transform the way women are supported through pregnancy and postpartum—by building a community-based model rooted in trust, compassion, and cultural connection.

 

Before launching Aldea, Aliza was a founding team member and strategic leader at Prospero Health, a holistic palliative care company that was acquired by Optum in 2022. Following the acquisition, she served as a senior leader at Optum Health, driving growth in Full Population Management.

 

Aliza began her career consulting with provider groups at the Advisory Board Company. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and is a DONA-certified doula, blending deep business expertise with lived experience in maternal care.
